We use the french cleat mounting method - it is a simple and reliable type of mounting that has two advantages: it is fully hidden, and you don't need to take out the drawer for the mounting.
Can it be mounted on drywalls?
Yes, our floating nightstands can be mounted on any wall type (brick, concrete, drywall - even without studs) - make sure to use such wall plugs that are designed for your wall type.
Is it possible to have a cutout for cables?
Yes, we can add cutout for cables - you can customize both the shape and size of the cutout. With cable cutouts, you can have an elegant way of hiding the cables of your bedside table lamp or phone charger.

About minimalist nightstands
Briefly on minimalism – and how we created our minimalist nightstands
As Wikipedia says, ‘the term minimalism is also used to describe a trend in design and architecture, wherein the subject is reduced to its necessary elements.’ … ‘The concept of minimalist design (or architecture) is to strip everything down to its essential quality and achieve simplicity. The idea is not completely without ornamentation, but that all parts, details, and joinery are considered as reduced to a stage where no one can remove anything further to improve the design.’
These lines perfectly describe our intention why (and how) we created our minimalist nightstands. Our aim was to reduce all elements to the lowest possible level – while keeping the original functionality of a bedside table. This also resulted in the decrease of lines, surfaces and the design of a hidden drawer structure.
Minimalist nightstands as floating nightstands
Our minimalist nightstands are actually floating nightstands – a trendy and popular type of bedroom furniture that gives multiple benefits to its owner. The floating expression comes from its unique look as this piece of furniture is without any visible mounting bracket – instead, a hidden mounting system holds the bedside table tightly on the wall.
The key advantage of floating nightstands is definitely their space saving feature: as this type of bedside tables does not occupy any floor, the room becomes spacious and convenient to clean. Also, these nightstands are smaller, therefore easier to make and ship, so eventually it can offer a more cost-efficient option for bedroom furniture than same quality regular floor-standing models.
Types of minimalist nightstands we offer
When creating our minimalist bedside tables, we focused on a clear product palette: differentiating the square and round models. Both products have a unique, 45°-cut drawer front that forms a seamless connection with the cabinet (also with a 45° edge) in closed position. Besides the square/round options, we offer 3 major versions:
- Full white nightstands: these bedside tables are made of MDF and plywood and painted in specialized painter workshop to a semi-gloss white finish. Optionally, we can make them with matte or high-gloss finish, too – and also painted to a custom color (from a list including hundreds of color variations).
- White nightstands with wooden drawer front: The drawer fronts of these models are made of hand-selected solid wood, sanded smooth and finished with high-quality furniture oil. When making a set of minimalist nightstands, we pay attention on how they match: we do a symmetrical bookmatched wood pattern for the two units.
- Fully wood nightstands: These models are made entirely of solid wood, except the drawer box. Each piece is crafted with great attention to detail and quality, especially to the joinery and surface finish that really make a difference when we talk about furniture quality. In most cases we use the following types of wood: oak, walnut, cherry, maple, birch and beech, but for request we can build nightstands using other wood types such as teak, elm, mahogany, spruce, poplar and more. If you have a favorite wood, do not hesitate to ask for a proposal.
