This is a live edge floating shelf made of American walnut. American walnut (sometimes called as black walnut) is one of the most popular and highest quality hardwoods – it has a beautiful color range and wood pattern, that we found perfect for furniture making. In case of live edge floating shelves, we keep the shape of the original wood slabs, remove only the bark and finish the surface, but the natural edge keeps the same shape as the tree trunk had.

The mounting brackets we include in the package are suitable for brick and concrete walls, and double-layered drywalls, however, if you have regular drywall, please contact us before placing your order, so we can offer a solution.
